2 versions of the same DLL in the same server

Hi:

I've been working in a VB project using
DCOM and COM in a 3-tier model using
Windows 2000 as DCOM server. I rolled out the first phase which is already working in production.

Now I have the second phase of my project completed but
I changed some DLLs that are working in phase I to ActiveX
EXE files (using the same name just changed the project type for each one),
and also I have a newer version of a DLL that is completely uncompatible to
the one in phase I. Now my concern is to roll out Phase II
and at the same time have some users working with the new stuff against the same server COM server.

How can I register same files but with DIFFERENT version in the same server?
I did a small change and is not working, I'm getting active component can't create object, when I open dcomcnfg I can see both versions
but seems that are conflicting, do I have to RENAME my newer versions?
I wouldn't like to do that, any other suggestions?
