.obj linking problems: error LNK2001 : unresolved external symbol

hi,
i am writing one C++ programming related with algorithm calculation.
I am facing some linking problems.
I am using windows 2000 and MSVC 6.0.
in my setting of code generation:  multithreaded dll, I also tried the other setting in the code generation but still facing the same linking problem.
