SMS - Sending

Asked by brakes in Miscellaneous Programming, Installation

Tags: hyperterminal, send, sms

i just installed a new gsm modem through my serial port (COM1).  i issued AT-commands in hyperterminal and the commands went well.

i am developing a software in visual basic 6 that would send and receive sms.  in hyperterminal you press CTRL+Z to send the message under the AT+CMGS command.  my question is what is its equivalent in visual basic 6.  please send me a sample code.  also as i was trying to look at other sms forums, i saw lines with chr$(13).  what does this mean. thanks in advance.Start Free Trial
