Visual Basic Form to PDF

I have a visual basic program that has a form that i need to be able to save as a pdf. I have been surfing around the net for the last half day and have found stuff that i ether have to pay for or things that i need a membership that i have to pay for in order to access. Does anybody know ether how to save a visual basic form as a pdf or some links to some kind of free PDF SDK that will allow me to do this...thanks for any help in advance.

Honestly, I dont think there is any free tool out there that let you create PDF file.  Reading PDF is free, but creating is not.

no, there's got to be a dll or somthing out there that can be used. I have been reading about converting postscript to pdf. I havn't really found anything that has been too helpful in reguards to implementing it. How do i jam the form contents in to postscript and then into a pdf?

Hi cdloves,

If you are able to print PS to a file (create a printer that does PostScript, but send it to a file) you can use GhostScript to convert PS to PDF. Get GhostSCript and GSView from http://www.ghostscript.com .

i went and checked out ghostscript, but i couldn't add the dll to my project. I need somthing that will allow me to take the contents of a form that i have in a visual basic 6.0 form and create a pdf from the vb app.

I didn't say you could, GhostScript is a command line tool.

- Print to PS file
- run GhostScript from the command line (I do not know how to do that from VB, but I am absolutely positive there is a way to do that) to convert the .ps to .pdf

I don't think there is any other free option to do it.

Free it is -- CutePDF. Basically you can print whatever to a pdf file

You should have asked this question in the Adobe Acrobat TA. Your chances of getting a better answer would have been a lot better over there.
