Browse All TopicsI have some code like this in a jsp page:
....................
<% String theJavaStringValue = "Abc";
%>
<script>
var theJavascriptStrValue='abc
if (theJavascriptStrValue==<%
//do something
} else {
//do something else
}
</script>
.............
I want to execute the if condition to be able to compare without considering case, namely, in the above case, the //do somthing section should be executed. But currently the comparason in the code is casesensative, so 'abc' is not equal to 'Abc'. //do something section will not be excuted. Can someone tell me what statndard methods I should use, and if there is none, is there any custom method I can write to do a string compartson in javascript without considering their case?
Thanks a bunch!
