The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. FTP - script/bat question.

I'm using Windows XP and just the plain old FTP command built in. I want a solution under the native FTP, not a 3rd party product.
I do know how to make a simple script to FTP/send a specific file every night.
BUT
My problem is that the name of the file I want to send each night will change.

Here's my situation.  I have a folder called D:\backup and every night a drive image is written to it by some backup software.
A file may be called drive-c-backup.tif for instance.  On the next nights, the file will automatically be called "drive-c-backup2.tif" then "drive-c-backup3.tif" and so on, repeat forever.

So, because the file name changes, I'm not sure how to tell FTP to only send the latest, highest numbered file.  Can I somehow sort by time&date and send that way? I want to FTP-upload only that night's backup file, not the entire directory.
