This would be fine and dandy if I were using a landline connected to a modem on my PC, but I am complicating things by trying to process mobile phone calls.
I have a mobile phone connected to a PC via a data cable, plugged into a USB port. This enables my software to be notified of incoming calls and SMS messages.
However I need to actually process audio when a call comes in, so I also have cables connected to the Microphone and Speaker sockets of my soundcard.
I understand the TAPI api allows processing of voice calls when a standard phone line is plugged into a compatible modem.
Is there some way I can redirect the audio stream (from microphone) so that the TAPI will handle it?
The important parts of the TAPI that I need the functionality of are the Touch Tone Recognition routines.
Please comment for further explanation.
I will give a large reward for this answer.
Many thanks
