Tools for extracting the relevant section from a Web page

I am looking for some software that can get good results on the following task.
Given a Web page that contains an article, e.g. newspaper article or blog, extract the section that contains the article text itself , without the constant template stuff or comments and talkbacks.

I am not talking about extraction tools that you have to teach per specific templates, but something that is universal in nature.

Obviously, I do not expect 100% success, but anything that is near enough will be welcome.
