How do I make a multiboot cd with a graphical menu?
I would like learn how to make a bootable CD that contains diagnostic tools (like memtest86 and DFT). I mostly work with windows XP Pro systems. Where should I start?

For that you'll need a 16-bit compiler and code to the real-mode BIOS.

Proper graphics is questionable unless you want to support various video cards. The rudimentary graphics you get via ANSI.SYS would be easiest.
