I agree, but this may be what is intended to be asked. Or maybe jlefave would like to know what programming language Frontpage was coded in? It is not a foregone conclusion that it (Frontpage) is coded using Microsoft tools because Frontpage was, as with many MS products, bought by Microsoft from another company (Vermeer in this case). However, by version 4, one would have expected MS to have ported it to using their own programming tools.

Most of it is markup language HTML except for the part within <script> tags which is javascript.
