Corrupted WMA file.

Asked by harish_dixit1 in Multimedia Programming, Programming Languages

I am writing one application which can read/write wma files. I am able to read and write all information successfully. But when i update/write album art to the wma file then sometimes file got corrupted. I think data or header length is disturbed after doing write operation.  I opened the file in hex editor but it couldn't help. I am able to see WM/Picture tag but i dont know how to interpret byte sequence. I also downloaded ASF file specification. But as it says one header object can contains many header objects. Then how to find out whch header section is starting and how to calculate length of each object?

For example how to calculate length of embedded image from hex editor?

Is there any software/utility available which can help me show what is wrong with that file and which can show me each section (header and data) .

If you want i can attach the corrupted wma file also.
