The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Flash player output capture

I have a Windows executable that feeds into a recent Flash player (ver 8) information about 4 media files; two video files, one JPEG, and one MP3.  The player successfully plays the two videos successively with a cross-fade between them, playing the MP3 sound all the while and then putting up the JPEG file.  For reason too long to go into here, doing anything other than feeding these into a Flash player is not an option.

My PROBLEM is that I want to capture the streamed presentation that comes out of the Flash player into a single file that I can then send to someone. I don't care whether the capture is to an AVI file or an MPEG file or what as long as it's something that can be played in an easily obtainable player such as Flash, but I can't figure out a way to capture the output of the Flash player.  Again, it shows up on the screen/speakers just fine, but I want to stuff the presentation into a file, not just see it on the screen/speakers.

Can this be done and if so how?
