Error in importing mpg files in Movie Maker

I am trying to import some files with .mpg extension in Movie maker and each time I got the following message : F:\pinnacle\MPEG\Marica01.mpg could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from.
What does it mean ? and what I have to do to solve this issue ?
