How to disable Autoplay in a windows Media ASX file?

Hello experts.

I have an application (written with php) that dynamically creates ASX files to create playlists for videos, and a webpage that plays the list.

The problem is that windows media player starts playing the first video as soon as it opens the ASX file. And dont want that.

How do I disable the autoplay in a ASX file?

Well if windows media player is auto playing them dis-able windows media player as the default player.
Open up Windows Media Player.
2. Choose "Tools" - "Options".
3. On the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select "File Types".
4. Check or uncheck file types as desired. Checked file types will cause Windows Media Player to be the default player for said file types.
5. Press "OK".
Then from now on you simply use the drag and drop method.

Hi guys.

Merete, it is a webpage with windows media player object in it. I can't do that.

YoungBonzi, no, it didnt work, I've tried inside the <entry> and inside the <asx> tags.

Any other ideias?

Sorry the parameter is actually called "AutoStart"

It still dosen't work.
Please check the attached generated xml... putting the tag inside the <entry> and inside the <asx>

the <param name="AutoStart" value="false"/>
must be set on the <object> tag, in the HTML page, and not in the ASX file.
