I have about 100 DVDs in my personal DVD library. I am trying to move to a digital system so I can watch my movies on a couple TVs in my house without having to load the DVD. I know how to rip the movie into a digital file, but my question is - is there a movie file format that will allow me to rip my movie and maintain meta data information? Currently after I rip the movie I have to go back and use a program to look up the movie and it adds a separate tag to the movie folder. I was ripping in M4V format, but that doesn't appear to allow me to embed, so to speak, movie meta information into the file.
Is this even possible?
Any idea?
