Evaluate an String expression and convert it to Real Number

Good day to all,
I'm using Delphi7, hope somebody could help me with my problem. I need to evaluate a String expression but my problem is i do not know how. Anybody can show me a source code for this?

Ex.
st:String;

Height:=2;
Width:=2;
Length:=10;
st:="( (Height + Width) * Length)"

When i'm going to evaluate or execute the variable "st" the answer is returned to Real Number which is 40
Note: st holds a string of expressions/formulas, i need a function that will evaluate an expression.
