Batch Replacer Trouble - Date Format - Incorrect String?

I am having a tough time with this one.

I have 51 HUGE text files in a directory. Each of these text files has "03/01/07" as text within them, and its repeated numerous number of times. I want to change that "03/01/07" to "03/08/07". A simple Find/Replace cmd (Ctrl+H) locks and freezes my PC.

Then I found the Batch Replacer. This program does batch find and replace jobs for many 100s of files and text within those files in one click and in a very short time. My only problem is that if I type in Find "03/01/07" and Replace with "03/08/07", it does not work. (It works for almost anything else). I am entering the string incorrectly. So I looked at their help page and nothing makes sense.
