Wikipedia File compare - Open source tool
Hi,
What is the tool which wikipedia uses for file compare?. It's a open source tool i guess.
Search for some text and go to History in the results. There we can compare two revisions.
i need to know the tool which is being used.

Visual Diff was a Google Summer of Code 2008 project by guyvdb and mentored by brion. It can be enabled by setting $wgEnableHtmlDiff to true. As a side project the basic diff algorithm was optimized (available by setting $wgExternalDiffEngine to 'wikidiff3').
Daisydiff project was a Google Summer of Code 2007 project for DaisyCMS where it's actively used for diffing HTML content. As a spin-off, a PHP version of the algorithm was developed for MediaWiki in the GSoC 2008.
