Asked by Arisglobal in Computer CPU Processors, Processor Programming for Specific Platforms
Hi Experts,
Can any one please confirm our understanding that each thread under Solaris OS are more or less like a core when compared with Intel terminology?
For e.g. Sun 5240 server with 2*4 core (8 threads each)= 64 threads, is it same like 16 quad-core cpus (16*4=64 cores)?
Regards,
Arisglobal
