asked on

PE Notification thread.

All,

Would experts save a link to this thread for later reference when you see something that may require my attention.

Examples of such might be:

Full Source code posting to homework question.

Flame war.

Other rule breakings etc.

Thankyou!

Paul

Would ONE person please post to this question to keep the Auto-Deleter from killing it.

My pleasure ;o)
Hi Paul,

Code for homework assignment that too after I had posted saying that this could be an assignment.

Cheers!

Thanks sunny!

I got there too late :-(

All,

In addition to jkr's post above, there is one other point to remember. Even Page Editors need sleep.

In view of this, if you suspect that I am offline and something as urgent as a homework question with a full-code answer appears, please escalate as soon as possible. Perhaps I could persuade Netminder or some other PE in a different time-zone to subscribe to this post.

Paul
Hi Paul,

Thanks for dealing with it.

Regarding asking another PE to subscribe, a better alternative might be to define a protocol in CS section. We can post a question with subject like ...

URGENT::: PLs remove code for H/W question

I presume some mods would be around any time of the day. They can monitor and handle these questions on priority basis rather than with other questions periodically.

Cheers!

sunnycoder,

Good idea! I am told that this should be effective but post here too just in case I am awake. BTW, use the word 'Homework' because some might be confused by H/W as, to me this initially looks like 'HardWare' :-)

Paul
Point noted .. Pls inform other TA experts too by posting this in expert notification thread ...

Cheers!
sunnycoder
All,

Please be aware that there are two notification threads, each for a different process. The other one is here:

https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21794532/Expert-notification-thread.html

Paul
Paul,

What I meant was all experts are not subscribed to this thread.

Post this new protocol in the Expert Notification thread so that all experts are aware of it. As of now, only you me jkr and mods would know of it :)

Cheers!
sunnycoder
Thanks Ike! Good catch! Looks like GranMod is on it.

Paul,

a link to full code which might be homework: http:Q_21878128.html#16854461
What do you think?
Thanks for the heads-up.

I think links are acceptable as it should be possible, given the right keywords, for anyone to find it.

I'll keep an eye on it though.

Hi Paul,

Amazing grading history ...
https://www.experts-exchange.com/M_3639244.html

I posted a link to help pages for the benefit of the member, but s/he has conveniently igonred it.

It would definitely do them some good to learn about collaboration and how site works

NM,

It could be still worse ... I read somewhere that we have provisions for a D grade too.

sunnycoder
