Open Source Change Management System

Hey All,

We are looking for (at least I think this is what it is called) a Change Management System, preferably open source.  I have found several "Project" Change Management Systems, as well as "Software" Change Management Systems, and some others.  What I looking for is something that can be used for more global Change Management.  I want something that we can use for project changes, website changes, software changes, networking changes, systems changes, etc.  We already have a Help Desk app, but it doesn't seem to really cover everything that other Change Management Systems usually have (workflow, authorizations, etc).  Any ideas?

Look at Kablink.  http://www.kablink.org/

It would require some setup work,  but the tools are there for using it for change management.

It has workflow and blogs and wikis and discussions and tasks and milestones, and has some form of version control - I haven't really looked at the current version, 'cause I'm using 1.<something> and it's at version 2.0.1.  It's the free open-source, er, source of Novell's Teaming product.  The document conversion engine that comes with the free version only uses OO.o but if you pay for the Novell version they have proprietary document format conversions as well.

It can be used for a lot more than change management - it's a collaborative workspace that can be used for whatever you can think of to use it for.  Project management, knowledge management, whatever.

If you have Xen or VMware, they have a downloadable ready-to-run virtual machines available, with Kablink Teaming pre-installed and set up to use the OO.o converter and outbound mail-relay.

Note: the Kablink site is done in Kablink Teaming, if I recall correctly.
