  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. batch file to copy hidden file/folders to another location in all subfolders

Hello-

I need assistance in copying one folder with various subfolders into another location c:\folder\folder
1,2,3,4 etc.

what i'm trying to acomplish is copying 1 particular folder with subfolders into the c:\documents and settings\(every user folder in there)\application data\

the batch file that i was using is:
FOR /R d:\test %%A in ( . ) DO xcopy D:\new test /H /E /I %%A
Pause

this batch file did work to a degree, but put a copy of the folder in every folder in evey directory.
