Using Word 2007, I have created a custom header and footer. I do not wish to recreate this header/footer on other documents. What is the quickest way to insert this custom header/footer on about 100 other already created documents (none have a header/footer now).
I know I can copy/paste a header and footer individually but is there an easier way to say.... create a macro... or some other method?
Also, how does one create a header that only appears on the first page (but footer is on every page).
It is not absolutely necessary but can your proposed method work while Word 2007 is in compatibility mode (these are all Word 2000 documents) that should not be converted to docx format.
