I have clients that are always asking if they should keep or delete the Active Directory accounts of terminated employees. I have searched the web and can find plenty of tools to help me clean up the Active Directory to rid the system of old accounts, but basically: "To keep or Not to keep that is the question?"
I'm sure plenty of people have internal policies and procedures for the disposition of terminated accounts, but I'm looking for arguments either way and any authoritative source that provides the best practices.
