Error log for folder redirection

Asked by ryan80 in Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, Programming User Management

I have several PCs that are having errors in the application event log. The error is as follows:

Application log generated Error Event 106 on PC1.domain For more information see http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=106&source=Folder Redirection

Log: Application
Type: Error
Event: 106
Agent Time: 9:46:18 am 1-Nov-09
Event Time: 2:46:18 pm 1-Nov-09 UTC
Source: Folder Redirection
Category: None
Username: joe
Computer: PC1
Description: Failed to perform redirection of folder My Documents.
The full source path was <\\oldserver\joe$\my documents>.
The full destination path was <\\newserver\joe$\my documents>.
At least one of the shares on which these paths lie is currently offline.

Now the problem is going to be that oldserver is no longer used. It has been removed and can not be brought back online. There is no issue of missing data, but I would like to fix these issues.
