How to switch my program from WinHelp (.hlp) to HtmlHelp (.chm)

Hi experts,
I created a project and I didn't pay attention to which help format I was using.
I chose WinHelp (the help file has a .hlp extension).
I would like to switch the project to HtmlHelp (.chm help file).
How can I do that without destroying all the coding I did already?

Also, Robohelp apparently has the ability to do the conversion.

I don't want to convert help files I want to convert my project.

BTW HtmlHelpWorkshop (free MS) can also convert from WinHelp to HtmlHelp, but this is not the question here.

Maybe my question was not really clear.
So I will try to rephrase:
I am working on a CDialog based application which I
want to add help functionallity to. Context sensitive help
if possible. When creating the project I chose WinHelp.
I wanna switch that to HtmlHelp.

Hmmmmmmmm....so, are you developing in VB using a common dialog? Or is CDialog a language?

I am programming in c++ and CDialog is a common dialog (sort of).
If it is of any help, I am using MS Visual Studio .net V 7.1.3... .

At the top it says, on this page:

So I am in the Programming topic area

On the left side, there is a Programming Channels section. Click on Languages and then you'll be able to drill down to a specific language...

I must have been blind to overlook that.
Usually I ask in the MFC or c++ channel, but how
I ended up putting this in the general programming
channel I have no idea.
