I-series Apache security

Hi,

We have published a java (web) based application on our i-series running on Apache, it is secured by two lots of Firewalls with http application filtering. I have a few of cencerns; 1. The i-series is connected to the DMZ and the LAN with only one partition 2. The application does not provide user authentication 3. The application team think wrapping everything up in SSL will provide all the security they need.

The only thing I can do as a Firewall Admin is lock access down by url filtering and limiting http calls which I don't feel is enough. We usually pre-ath before anyone gets near an app.

Any comments / advise greatfully accepted.
