created shared library with unresolved symbols

Hi,
I have one application which is divided into one executable and several shared libriaries. Actually the main file (which is used to generate the executable) just use some functions from one shared library. But there are dependencies among these seveal shared libraries. So when building the executable, I need to link the main file with all the shared libraries. My problem is that if it is possible that linking is done during shared libraries generation(i.e. all symbols are resolved) so that when I build an executable I only need to link the main file with that directly used shared library.

 For example, I have three files as following:
 
---file f1.cpp
void f1();
void f2();
void f1(){
    f2();
}

----file2.cpp
void f2();
void f3();
void f2(){
   f3();
}

I can use the following command to creat a shared library
g++ -fPIC -c f1.cpp
g++ -fPIC -c f2.cpp
g++ -shared -o libmystuff.so f1.o f2.o

However the geberated libmystuff.so contains one unresolved symbol (i.e. f3()). It seems that linking is not done when I try to generate libmystuff.so. So how can I enfoce linking during shared library generation Thanks.Start Free Trial
