  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Compiling and producing an exe

Hi guys hope you can help.

Im a total newbie to this, so please bear with me.

I have a file with a .c extension.

Let's say it is called

tobeexe.c

I want to turn this .c file into an executable to run on a windows machine.

I think i have to use a compiler like...

gcc -o tobeexe tobeexe.c

I ran this on a linux box and this makes a file called tobeexe

Can I do this guys, and what other steps do I need to do in order to produce an exe file to run this on a windows machine?
