Having more than one command in .htaccess file

Asked by www-i-p-mu in Linux Programming, Apache Web Server

Hi experts,

I work on Apache servers and frequently needs to use .htaccess files for rewriting purposes and may other ways.

What i never tried is to write different commands in an .htaccess file and the most important question is that possible. For example i want anyone the comes to http://domain.com to automatically converts to http://www.domain.com and also restrict that web site with a password. Is it also possible to create this?

Please advise further
