Image mutiple linux boxes
can anyone tell me a easy way to install a preconfigured build of Linux to multiple servers? We are looking to deploy the same Linux build to a large number of identical servers for a distributed processing application we are developing.
Does anyone know an easy and quick way to do this instead of popping the install disk in every server?

Be aware with imaging that network configs under kernel 2.6 and udev are MAC specific so will need preparation prior to imaging for a smooth deployment.
SuSE has the autoyast tool bundled and it's excellent. Why not simply configure PXE on your network, set up a network install server, hit the network boot when you turn the server on and walk away?

You can use the Parted Magic LiveCD to clone your servers. Just make sure you change IP's and hostnames etc after they are finished.
