Batch File for Service starting/stoping

I'm trying to write a batch file that starts a service, and can tell when the service has finished starting, so it can start the next service. These services need to be started in order and I need to be able to tell if a service didn't start properly and error out if that happens.

I made a batch like this:

@echo off
mode con: cols=50 lines=30
REM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
echo Please wait, stopping Services...
REM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
net stop servicename1
net stop servcicename2
REM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When run like so, you can see if the services were sucessful or not.

I fixed this problem myself by adding dependencies to each of the objects in the services to depend on each other. When doing this you dont' need to add WAIT or time delays to the batch file. Can the moderator pelase refund the points?
