dbgsrv is still running. I've use windbg to attach to a notepad process in ways of invasive and noninvasive and notepad runs normally.
I think -p means the same with locally attaching to a process.

I use dbgsrv -t tcp:port=1025 on the target host
target host's ip:192.168.1.21
target app: Notepad with pid=1116
Debuger host:
when I run: windbg -premote tcp:server=192.168.1.21,po
a windbg windows flash up and close immediately with the target notepad close also.
I wonder why this happened, it supposes to open a windbg debug windows, doesn't it?

Since notepad is killed, WinDbg has a connection to the process, and either ends or crashes. What about dbgsrv, is it also getting closed? Did you try the same locally either on the WinDbg or remote PC?
