or you can use poll. IIRC if nfds = 0, it'll delay for timeout millsecs.

This is an easy one, for someone who knows.
I need to know how to go to sleep for a short period in "C" code, on Unix. When I say a short time, I mean in milliseconds. I am aware of the sleep() function, but it required an integer value for the number of seconds. I need to pause for about 60 milliseconds.
And yes, pausing for a second instead IS a big deal.
I would like to use a library pause, instead of a loop, because I dont want to eat CPU cycles. This is a multithreaded application, so many threads could be sleeping at the same time, and CPU cycles could add up quickly.
Anyone?
