I am still curious if anyone has any ideas about this. Thank you Alex for your comment.

Browse All TopicsHi, does anyone know how (if it is possible) to export an existing Crystal Report (.rpt) file to a .pdf file format under Unix/Linux/Solaris platform? Note that I don't want to have to create a web server to do this. I just want to know if Crystal provides any Unix API where you can call it directly in Perl/C/C++.
Note that I don't want the implementation in Windows environment for I already know how. It's Unix that's bugging me.
Thanks greatly for your expert opinion.

Good luck.
Cystal reports are dependent on dll's, you could try and find an xwine libray that will allow you to convert it, but I highly dought it. Your best bet is to convert before it ends up on unix.
