In the above TO: xyz working fine. How to change the abc?

Thanks

by: amit_gPosted on 2009-10-12 at 13:54:48ID: 25554956

mail can't do that. Do you have access to sendmail? Try this

sendmail -t <<EOF

To: to@somedomain.com
From: from@somedomain.com
Subject: Test mail

This is the body.

EOF

If this works, you can use it in your script.

by: victory_inPosted on 2009-10-12 at 15:24:53ID: 25555612

amit_g:,

The above script(sendmail) works great.  Now how to implement that in my script?

thanks a lot
