Browse All TopicsI have written an ATL Control in Visual Studio 2005. The control works fine in a C# test app and even works fine in an MFC test app that runs on Windows Mobile.
However, If I write a simple MFC test application for windows and try it the output window contains "Control wants to be windowless". Nothing ever displays in the window.
I have searched for a solution to this but have not been able to find a suitable full solution. For example: http://www.experts-exchang

Turns out this is only a one line change. But it was hard to find.
In the constructor for the ATL control I added the line:
m_bWindowOnly = TRUE;
