The Solution Rating System

How to display a 4000x300 image with these requirements

I acquired a narrow image with a dimension of 4000x300 from the hardware. To examine it quickly, I am planning to break it into four segments of 1000x300, and fit these four segments into one window. I also need to be able to zoom it in and out and display the (x,y) coordinate information on a status bar as the mouse points to.
I am using VC++.net

Is it possible to do so and how?
