Ah hello.

I am having a horrible time trying to get my head around using a thread class that I have derived from CWinThread. I have some simple questions that I would like answering please.

1) I create a class derived from CWinThread via ClassWizard.

**Where do I put the function that does the work ?!?!?!?!? **

I am used to doing things like

UINT mYThreadFunc(LPVOID lpVoid)
{
      while (bDontStop)
      {
       // Do work
      }
      return 0;
}

I understand that a thread derived from CWiNThread has a message loop, which is dealt with by CWinThread::Run. I could put my infinite loop as above into here I suppose. But after reading

which hints that I need to put my work in Run, and then

The two contadict each other ?!

ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !

What is the answer to this seemingly simple question ?

100 points thus far. I will ask more questions when this is answered, but have found that when I ask more than one in one go, they don't all get answered.
