1. I can not reset router I am not a primary user of the IP account and verizon's DSL
2. I did applied different settings for TCP/IP and the results are posted above
3. No friend around here.. I just moved in, so I can not connect to someone's router at this point

Since the connection died off gradually I suspect signal interference

Hi there,
1.Did u tried to reset your wireless router?
2.Go Start->Control Pannel->Network Connections->(right click) Properties -> See if there is no Tcp/Ip v6 protocol (usualy this come with some updates, if it is uninstall it)->Go to Internet protocol TCP/IP check Obtain an Ip adress automatically / Obtain DNS server automatically. Restart pc after apllying settings.
3.If is still not working try to make a connection on laptop with anoter wireless router and try another laptop (friends, neighbours) on your router to see where thee problem is, on laptop or router.
Tell me what happend after you do this 3 steps.
