Initialization of a global in a DLL

From MSDN: "In Microsoft C++, global static objects are initialized before entry to [the function] main".

But my project is a DLL, and I don't have a main(), I have a DllMain(..) .

I've placed a class declaration in the global scope, i.e.:

MyClass aClass("Init string");

And the DllMain function is invoked without aClass being initialized... what should I do?
