The Solution Rating System
|
|
| With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site. If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

Asked by Vkiran2208 in Probability & Statistics
Hello,
In my previous job i was a Team Leader of a 10 member team of insurance services group. One of the process steps required as to calculate a catch up of the insurance policies which were received after the effective date. This meant that the associate had to manually enter the Employee's name and the payroll amounts into the excel sheet. The average time spent by the associate was anything beween 1 hour to 3 hour's depending on the number of employees in the policy. Since this was a tidious and time taking process i have come up with a solution of using Acrobat Converter to convert the policy details (which was received in a PDF format) into Excel. This took to 2-3 minutes to convert the file into Excel and saved me and my team a lot of time. Since this was a successful project i want to show it has an achivement in my resume. Hence i want to know as to how much did i save for the company in terms of Man Hours and money. Please help me with this. Please find below a few more details regarding this project.
Total no of Employees : 10
Average Hourly Salary: 5 Dollars( it is Rs 375 as per indian currency)
Average number of Catchup's in a day|: 2 -3
Thanks and Regards
