The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

I need to design a new testing framework/engine which would interface with 3 or 4 other systems

1. Java application
2. AS- 400 DB
3. New testing framework DB
4. Excel file

This new testing framework/engine would be called from a web service and its functionality would be

1. For any new  plans it would create test data (UI to be developed) in the new testing framework DB
2. if the plans are not new and its existing data, we need to query the AS-400 DB based on the customer no and get the data for the same and store it in local DB
3. Ability to upload a single file or multiple files to create test data.
2. Call a java application servlet through http protocol and send the test data and get the resulting values in xml format
3. Call a Excel sheet and pass the test data created and get the resulting values and convert that to xml file
4. Pass the resulting java xml result and the excel sheet xml results to do a comparison of the same and get the errors/ success
5. format the result into html or pdf or format required.

This new testing framework/engine needs to be running 24/7 and ability to generate lumpsum test datas.
