I've been trying to set up exchange in order to email over a lan.
Winnt server/Win95 client. What's the cantch? Can someone help me out.
I've gone throught the set up a hundred times. I get to the point
where I'm asked to give postoffice and mailbox. I've tried several
things, apparantly they were the wrong things. What should I
specify as my post office and mailbox? Any other info you think might
be helpful would be greatly appreciated.

You postoffice should be the path to the share where the postoffice exists on your NT server and the mailbox should be your mailbox or whatever mailbox you are checking mail for. I guess if you could give some details as to what setup you have done exactly and where exactly you get stuck. It would help.

Never mind I got it figured out on my own. Thanks anyway. How
do I get my points back? (just kidding)

What was the real problem?

The real problem is that I didn't know what I was doing.%^) It wasn't
an excange question it was a MSMail question. Live and learn. I do have one question
while we're on the topic. When I right click and select properties on
the inbox and then select add one of the service that is listed is
Microsoft exchange server. It's only listed on version 4.00.950a and
not b. I don't know what service this provides. What functionality does
this service provide?
Thanks __Matt
