Non system disk error
On Winnt 4.0 boot you get "Nonsystem disk" message. Which file is corrupted?
boot.ini, ntldr, nt detect.com, or bootsect.dos
boot.ini, ntldr, nt detect.com, or bootsect.dos
If your getting that error I'd check 1st to see if the Hard Drive is being recognized. That sounds more like the problem. Get a dos or 95/98 boot disk to boot up the machine and see if you have a HD.

I did and the Hard drive is there and well. I just need to know which of the above files is the one to repair

in addition in my comment, try repairing the ntldr then. if you see the menu of WinNT then repair either ntdetect or bootsec.dos
with the correct boot sequence you should be able to figure out where the problem is.
