Can't test oracle DSN
I have win2k OS with oracle client version 9.0.2. I have installed Oracle ODBC driver 9.0.15. I am trying to create a DSN for a database server which is on other machine.
When I connect to database using SQL plus, it connects properly. However, when I add a DSN, and click 'test connection' it throws error saying
SQL state=IM004 ERROR Driver's SQLallochandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed.
I have already done the following which I found on net.
I removed and reassigned the permissions of read and execute on oracle home directory and restarted the machine.
Does anyone know what is the solution for this?
Best regards,
Rahul

it will work fine.
it will work fine.
if you install Oracle ODBC driver, it should be compatible with the client version. An alternative is to install the same version.
