avi player

Hi. Have a new laptop. What is a good AVI player to get. Seems media player will not play avi's. Also some sites have high def videos to download. What would I need to view them. Thanks

Media Player plays AVIs fine.  You need the codecs required to play the AVIs - XviD and DivX are two of the most common and are not included with windows.  Download them, install them, and you should be fine.

I think ac3 is the type of audio used on DVDs.  Glad you got it sorted.
