What is the difference between Video and VR Mode with Cannon DC40 Camcorder
Hi Everyone:
I am helping a friend learn how to use a Cannon Camcorder and everything is going very well so far. Upon using it, we noticed there is an option to switch from Video Mode to VR Mode. With that point in mind, what is the difference between Video Mode and VR Mode?
Any followup information regarding this question will be appreciated.
Thank you
George

We will be sticking with Video Mode for all recordings. It has proven to work well time after time again throughout all important recordings. Perhaps the single thing which makes Video Mode most attractive is the fact the recording can be played back on any modern standard DVD playback unit, wereas, VR mode would not.
In closing, thank you Gary for the tips here.
