Looking for appropriate remote control tool
Hi all,
I run a small helpdesk and we are looking into remote control tools, currently we are using RDP but the user has to request assistance and this is a lengthy process.
We want a better product for remote control to diagnose faults and are looking for suggestions however one requirement is that the user must authorize any attempts to remote control, the support guys cannot just take control.
Any suggestions greatfully recieved.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi There,
I have worked with a few there is obv Remote desktop but this is flawed as usually logs the user off. I have used Novell Remote admin but you need to have novell netware set up. The third i have used is symantec pc anywhere. This is probably the best for small to medium businesses has all the features , such as user must authorise (can also turn this off) plus runs relatively quick and is reliable. I used this software for a year and had very little problems with it in a medium sizes business you can check it out here:

could luck
