I have 25,000 e-mails and don't know how to perminately delete them.

I have tried to download all 25,000 e-mails in my outlook express but it will only download 5,000 before I get an error message.  When i go back into my outlook express it redownloads the same ones over and over even after i delete them.  Can you help me to delete them for good so they don,t keep coming back?   Is there a way to delete them all at once?

Your honor, I think that the suggestion posted by rpggamergirl was beyond a shadow of a doubt, definitely an answer... and that she should receive recognition and points for this.
IMHO, I believe anyone searching the PAQ for this, and I'm sure there are bound to be plenty, would benefit from the answers provided here.
Her's was a quicker solution, but if you see fit to accept my answer as well, then an assist to her solution would be in order.
   Thank you,
Humbly
Riteheer....
I think maybe I was a bad lawyer in a past life...<grin>
Please excuse me, sorry I didn't see this before.

It would be fair if this was a split and riteheer's answer could've been the accepted answer because he gave 2 good suggestions(which is more likely the solution) to the question.

Please I'm asking you to reconsider your decision and re-open this and split the points at least.
I'm also happy for riteheer to have all the points, since if it wasn't for his action this thread would have been deleted.
Thank you.

riteheer,
Thanks, you're an expert that is rare to find here at EE, the real and true expert.
Thank rpg, but since there is some good quality information in this, the important thing is it goes into the PAQ for future use.
I don't worry that much about the points, it bothers me more to see them go to waste, as long as an expert gets them I'm happy.  And Lord knows, you do more than your share on this site.
Thank you for the flowers, but I think you contribute way more than I ever could.

Thanks riteheer, yes I agree this would be better FAQ'ed.
And I admire your opinion with regards to awarding points, there are not so many experts with the same principle.

No. really if points are awarded here then you should have the share of it(if not all)
I'll ask them to redistribute the points, thanks and keep up the good work!

<smile> Thanks Modguy, relatives huh.... that could be a good thing or a bad thing... but we won't go there...<grin>
Thanks modguy, that looks better! :)
"relatives" ...oh I missed mine back in Phils.

>> but I think you contribute way more than I ever could.<<
riteheer, so nice of you, but you mustn't think that your contribution is less than others. Some experts only help or answer questions for personal gain of(points)
Meanwhile, you help because you care to help, regardless of the award points. I think that's the greatest contribution an EE expert can ever give to the Askers.
girl, If you ever get to East TN, please look me up, I'd love to buy ya a cup of coffee. If all the experts here had your attitude I would have a hard time getting off here and going to work...LOL
And thanks Modguy for pointing out the question to Netminder. Gosh as Gomer Pyle would say... I'm just so... well, you know....<smile>
Coffee in East TN sounds great! thanks riteheer, but far far away from aussieland....lol

yeah, thanks too modguy, and I'll stop posting before you "off-topic" mod me, lol.

See you both 'round EE :)
